Hi, I’m Lesley.
Welcome to my garden… or as I call it, Larkspur Row.
I’ve been gardening on my little piece of suburbia since I moved into my house 11 years ago. Every year, the garden gets a little bigger and the yard gets a little smaller. I started out growing a mix of vegetables, herbs and flowers, but I found myself neglecting my veggie patch and spending all my time in the flowers. It was only a matter of time before I went all in! Now my (tiny) plot is all flowers, and I couldn’t be happier.
In 2020, I started learning how to make arrangements with my freshly cut blooms, and this year I got hooked on drying and pressing flowers to work with after the growing season is over. I’m excited to finally realize my dream of sharing my floral bounty with my community!
I’m committed to being as Earth friendly as I can be, which means I grow my flowers using all organic methods. I’m also passionate about the SlowFlowers movement to reduce the environmental impact of imported flowers, which means I grow or locally source pretty much everything I use.
I can’t wait to see where this flower-filled journey takes me, and I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for all the latest updates!
